The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, Concentrates, and Grain Trade aims to raise its business volume to 11 billion EGP during 2026, with a growth rate ranging between 10% and 15% for pasta, flour, tomato paste, and grain products, in conjunction with injecting investments worth 5 million euros to establish a new pasta production line, during the group’s celebration of World Pasta Day.
Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaie, General Manager of the Group, stated during a press conference held by the company in celebration of World Pasta Day, that the group exports its products to about 60 countries worldwide. It directs nearly 80% of its total production to foreign markets, while it accounts for approximately 10% of Egypt’s pasta exports and 15% of its flour exports.
He added that the group is celebrating over 30 years since its founding, during which it has succeeded in building an integrated industrial system starting from grain trade, wheat milling, and flour production, all the way to manufacturing pasta, tomato paste, concentrates, and sauces. This enhances its ability to diversify products and markets and face demand fluctuations.
El-Sebaie explained that the group began its activities in the flour trade before expanding into milling and pasta manufacturing, then adding tomato and sauce products, benefiting from the integration of manufacturing and distribution operations. This has helped it face the challenges of exchange rates, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and global market disruptions.
