The “Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, Concentrates, and Grain Trade” aims to raise its business volume to 11 billion EGP during the current year, with a growth ranging between 10% and 15% for pasta, flour, tomato paste, and grain products, in conjunction with implementing an investment plan to expand production and boost exports, during its celebration of World Pasta Day.
Ahmed El-Sebaie, General Manager of the Group, stated during a press conference held by the company on this occasion, that “Egyptian Swiss” exports its products to about 60 countries and directs nearly 80% of its total production to foreign markets, accounting for approximately 10% of Egypt’s pasta exports and 15% of its flour exports.
He added that the group, which is celebrating over 30 years since its founding, has succeeded in building an integrated industrial system that includes grain trade, wheat milling, and flour production, all the way to manufacturing pasta, tomato paste, concentrates, and sauces. This supports the diversification of products and markets and enhances its ability to face demand fluctuations.
