During the event, Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey delivered a keynote speech that revealed the latest developments in the Egyptian wheat market for 2025.
Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, stated that Egypt’s wheat imports reached about 2 million tons in October 2025, marking the highest monthly level this year and a 28.7% increase compared to September. This reflects the continued ability of the Egyptian market to secure strategic needs despite global market fluctuations.
