The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates is participating in Anuga 2025 in Cologne, Germany, led by Hany Lawendi, Chairman of the Board, and Eng. Ahmed El-Sebai, General Manager, from October 4 to 8. This participation comes as part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in European and global markets and to promote Egyptian food industries at one of the world’s largest international exhibitions specialized in this sector.
Strong Egyptian Presence and Government Support
Hany Lawendi, Chairman of the Egyptian Swiss Group, stated that this year’s edition of Anuga is witnessing exceptional participation and attendance from companies, particularly from Latin America and Europe. He emphasized that the Egyptian pavilion enjoys high-level governmental representation from several entities, including the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions, the Egyptian Commercial Service, and the National Food Safety Authority, in addition to the key role played by the Food Export Council of Egypt.
Lawendi added that this official presence reflects the Egyptian government’s strong support for the food industries sector and its commitment to empowering local companies to expand into international markets. He noted that such participation opens new horizons for exports and strengthens global confidence in Egyptian products.
