The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates launched a campaign to encourage its employees to donate blood at its operational facilities. This initiative falls within the Group’s comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, in cooperation with Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357, aiming to support children battling cancer by ensuring the availability of blood and its derivatives to aid in their healthcare.
This initiative aligns with the Group’s direction toward adopting a strategic CSR vision focused on creating a real and sustainable impact on society by supporting vital sectors, foremost among them the healthcare sector.
The campaign was coordinated with the Association of Friends of the National Cancer-free Initiative (AFNCI) under the slogan “A Drop of Blood = A Life.” The initiative aims to promote a culture of blood donation, transforming it into a sustainable corporate behavior that reflects the employees’ awareness of their role in supporting the community and saving lives.
For his part, Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaei, General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, emphasized that this campaign stems from the management’s belief in the importance of active community participation. He added that it also embodies the Group’s commitment to translating its CSR initiatives into a sustainable and tangible impact for children with cancer.
