The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, Concentrates, and Grain Trading targets a business volume of $220 million by the end of the current year, alongside launching a new investment plan valued at $23.3 million (€20 million), according to statements made by the Group’s General Manager, Ahmed El-Sebaei, to Asharq Business.
El-Sebaei explained that the Group’s annual export revenues currently represent around 80% of total sales for pasta, flour, and tomato paste products, up from just 30% five years ago, driven by the expansion of export plans and the number of active markets.
He added that the company seeks to achieve export revenues of $70 million this year compared to $60 million last year, based on estimated annual growth rates ranging between 10% and 20%, by entering new markets and expanding within existing ones. Meanwhile, approximately 20% of its manufactured products are directed toward the local market, alongside the trading of imported grains, including wheat and corn.
