The 6th of October Technological University honored the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates in recognition of its role in supporting students and providing training and professional development opportunities. This was in addition to the Group’s active participation in the first employment fair, “Career 1.0,” organized by the university with the participation of approximately 50 companies from the food, technological, and textile industries.
The honor was presented by Prof. Dr. Heba Farouk Salem during the fair hosted by the university. The event was attended by academic leaders and private sector representatives, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between students and the labor market, and to provide training and professional development opportunities that meet current demands.
The University President emphasized the 6th of October Technological University’s commitment to developing an educational system directly linked to labor market needs. This is achieved through continuous cooperation with private sector companies and government entities, which contributes to preparing qualified personnel capable of keeping pace with development plans and the state’s vision for sustainability and industrial development.
During the fair, Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaei delivered an awareness lecture to the students addressing the importance of integrating academic studies with practical experience. He stressed that the modern labor market now heavily relies on applied skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
