The egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates participated in the 2026 Russian World Grain and Pulses Forum, held on January 26–27, with wide participation from agriculture ministers, government officials, major global grain trading companies, as well as representatives of international organizations and agricultural market experts.
This participation reflects egyptian swiss’s commitment to maintaining an active presence in international dialogue platforms focused on grain markets and food security, and to strengthening its position as a key partner in Egypt’s food industry ecosystem, especially amid the rapid changes affecting global wheat, corn, and soybean trade.
Eng. Ahmed El Sebaie, General Manager of egyptian swiss, stated that the forum is one of the leading events dedicated to discussing the future of grain and pulse markets, particularly as it is organized under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, with participation from major Russian producers and exporters, alongside top international buyers, including Egypt.
He added that Egypt’s strong presence in such international forums reflects the country’s strategic weight in the global grain market, as one of the world’s largest wheat importers.
