The egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates participated in the 2026 Russian World Grain and Pulses Forum, held on January 26–27, with broad participation including agriculture ministers, government officials, major global grain trading companies, representatives of international organizations, and agricultural commodity market experts.
The participation of egyptian swiss in this important international event underscores its ongoing commitment to being an active presence in global dialogue platforms focused on grain and pulse markets and food security issues, while reinforcing its role as a key partner in Egypt’s food industry ecosystem—especially amid the rapid changes affecting the global wheat, corn, and soybean markets.
In this context, Eng. Ahmed El Sebaie, General Manager of the egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, stated that the forum is one of the leading events specializing in discussing the future of global grain and pulse markets, particularly as it is organized under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, with the participation of major Russian grain producers and exporters, alongside top international buyers, including Egypt.
El Sebaie emphasized that Egypt’s strong presence at such international forums reflects the country’s significant weight in the global grain market, as one of the world’s largest wheat importers. He stressed that maintaining stable strategic relations with Russia is a top priority, given its pivotal role as the largest wheat supplier to the Egyptian market.
