The egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates announced a new achievement after increasing its share of Egypt’s pasta exports to solely account for 10% of total national exports, in addition to capturing 15% of Egypt’s flour exports. The group is also participating for the tenth consecutive year in the Food Africa Exhibition, as part of its continued expansion into new export markets.

Engineer Ahmed El-Sebaei, General Manager of the egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, revealed that the group is currently undergoing one of its strongest expansion phases in international markets, following a notable increase in its export share. This performance reflects the company’s strength compared to Egyptian market indicators, which witnessed a decline in flour export volumes compared to last year.

He also pointed out that the group doubled its pasta exports this year, enabling it to capture around 10% of total exports in this sector, while flour exports recorded growth of approximately 30%.

Total Egyptian flour exports during the period from January to September 2025 reached around 676,000 tons, while total pasta exports amounted to approximately 178,000 tons during the same period.

El-Sebaei explained that this achievement reflects the company’s ability to enhance its export share despite the challenges facing the food industry, particularly rising operating, energy, and transportation costs, in addition to intense competition in international markets. He added that the company’s success in expanding its exports confirms the soundness of its strategy, which is based on the high quality of Egyptian products and strengthening confidence in the “Made in Egypt” label across global markets.
