The egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates announced an exceptional achievement during 2025, after capturing 15% of Egypt’s flour exports and 10% of pasta exports, at a time when the Egyptian market has witnessed a noticeable decline in export volumes within this sector.

Engineer Ahmed El-Sebaei, General Manager of the group, confirmed that the company is experiencing one of its strongest phases of international expansion, after successfully doubling its pasta exports and increasing its share of flour exports by a growth rate of 30% during the current year.

Official data indicates that Egypt’s total flour exports reached 676,000 tons during the period from January to September 2025, while pasta exports amounted to 178,000 tons over the same period.

El-Sebaei explained that these results were achieved despite the challenges facing the food industry both locally and globally, particularly rising operating, energy, and transportation costs, in addition to intense competition in international markets.

He emphasized that the group relies on an integrated operational system that includes developing production lines, enhancing packaging efficiency, and improving supply quality—factors that have helped strengthen confidence in Egyptian products in global markets and reinforce the “Made in Egypt” label.
