The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates announced a new achievement after increasing its share of Egypt’s pasta exports to independently account for 10% of total national exports, in addition to capturing 15% of Egypt’s flour exports. The group is also participating for the tenth consecutive year in the Food Africa Exhibition, continuing its expansion into new export markets.
Engineer Ahmed El-Sebaei, General Manager of the egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, revealed that the group is currently undergoing one of its strongest expansion phases in international markets, following a notable increase in its share of Egypt’s exports. This reflects the company’s strong performance compared to Egyptian market indicators, which witnessed a decline in flour export volumes compared to last year.
He also pointed out that the group doubled its pasta exports this year, enabling it to capture around 10% of total exports in this sector, while flour exports recorded growth of approximately 30%.
Total Egyptian flour exports during the period from January to September 2025 reached around 676,000 tons, while total pasta exports amounted to approximately 178,000 tons during the same period.
