Accompanying him were Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, along with a number of relevant executive officials.
The Prime Minister praised the significant advancements in production lines and the automation of manufacturing operations, stressing that the government strongly supports serious industrial ventures and is committed to creating a conducive environment for expansion and increasing production capacities—particularly in sectors that support exports and foreign currency generation.
During the visit, Dr. Madbouly stated:
“What we witnessed today reflects an exemplary model of national industry—based on innovation and modern technology—aimed at global export markets. These examples must serve as a benchmark and launchpad for expanding Egypt’s industrial base.”
He added:
“The state is committed to providing all forms of support to manufacturers and exporters. We are working to remove obstacles and streamline procedures for the private sector, which is a key partner in driving economic development.”
From his side, Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the group, noted that the Egyptian Swiss Group is planning to inject $10 million in new investments to expand its factories in the near future. He also pointed out that the group exports 80% of its production to over 40 countries, and aims to enter new markets, capitalizing on shifts in the global trade landscape.
