The Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the notable progress in production and manufacturing processes, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing the necessary support for any factory to continue its operations and expand its investments.
He and his delegation were received by Eng. Hani El Lawendy, Chairman of the Group, and Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the Group.
During the tour, El-Sebaey presented an overview of the company’s operations, noting that the group’s facilities span an area of 35,000 square meters, and that there are plans to invest $10 million in expansions aimed at boosting production capacity to meet growing demand in both the export and local markets.
El-Sebaey highlighted that the Egyptian Swiss Group was established in 1995, initially focusing on grain and flour trading. The group launched its first flour mill in Assiut in 2003, expanded to Borg El Arab in 2007, and to 10th of Ramadan City in 2010. It inaugurated its pasta factory in 2013, later adding the concentrates factory. In 2018, the company integrated its milling operations to enhance operational efficiency.
Chairman Hani El Lawendy emphasized that the group’s sauce product contains 100% local ingredients, and confirmed plans to increase exports and expand production capacity in the coming period.
El-Sebaey added that the group currently exports to over 40 countries, and has ambitious plans to enter new markets, in light of the ongoing shifts in the global trade landscape.
