During his tour of several factories in 10th of Ramadan City today, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly visited the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, accompanied by Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport; Dr. Nahed Youssef, Chairwoman of the General Authority for Industrial Development; Doaa Salima, Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center; and Eng. Alaa Abdallah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority.
The Prime Minister praised the tangible progress he witnessed in the group’s production and manufacturing operations, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing necessary support to any factory seeking to grow and expand its investments.
The delegation was received by Eng. Hani El Lawendy, Chairman of the Group, and Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the Group.
During the tour, the Prime Minister attended a presentation delivered by Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, who explained that the group’s factories span 35,000 square meters, and there are plans to invest $10 million in expansion projects aimed at increasing production capacity in response to rising demand from export markets and domestic consumers.
El-Sebaey also noted that the Egyptian Swiss Group was founded in 1995, initially operating in grain and flour trading. In 2003, it launched its first flour mill in Assiut, followed by expansions to Borg El Arab in 2007 and 10th of Ramadan City in 2010, where the pasta factory was launched in 2013, followed by the concentrates plant. In 2018, the group integrated its milling operations to enhance operational efficiency.
