Prime Minister and Delegation Inspect Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates in 10th of Ramadan City
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by his delegation, visited several factories in 10th of Ramadan City, including the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates. The delegation was welcomed by Eng. Hani El Lawendy, Chairman of the Group.
During the visit, the Prime Minister received a detailed presentation from Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the company. He explained that the group’s production facilities span an area of 35,000 square meters, and that there is a plan to invest $10 million in expansions to boost production capacity in response to growing demand in both export markets and the local market.
El-Sebaey highlighted that the Egyptian Swiss Group was founded in 1995, beginning its operations with grain and flour trading. In 2003, it launched its first flour mill in Assiut Governorate, followed by expansion to Borg El Arab in 2007, and then to 10th of Ramadan City in 2010. The group inaugurated its pasta factory in 2013, added a concentrates plant, and in 2018, consolidated its milling operations to improve operational efficiency.
He added that the group currently operates:

A pasta factory with a monthly production capacity of 8,000 tons

Two flour mills with a combined capacity of 30,000 tons of flour per month

A sauce/concentrate factory producing 3,000 tons per month

Metal grain silos in both 10th of Ramadan and Borg El Arab, with a total storage capacity of 50,000 tons of wheat
El-Sebaey confirmed that the company exports its products to over 40 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, which was recently added to its export map. He also noted that the group is actively planning to expand into new international markets, especially in light of recent global economic shifts and trade wars that are reshaping market dynamics and presenting fresh export opportunities.
