egyptian swiss’s participation in this prominent international event reflects its commitment to maintaining an active presence on global dialogue platforms focused on grain markets and food security, while reinforcing its role as a key partner in Egypt’s food industry—especially amid the rapid changes affecting global wheat, corn, and soybean trade.
Eng. Ahmed El Sebaie, General Manager of the egyptian swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, stated that the forum is one of the leading platforms for discussing the future of grain and pulse markets. He highlighted that the event was organized under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, with participation from top Russian producers and exporters, alongside leading international buyers, including Egypt.
El Sebaie added that Egypt’s strong presence at such events reflects the country’s significant weight in the global grain market as one of the world’s largest wheat importers, and emphasized that maintaining stable strategic relations with Russia remains a top priority, given its pivotal role as the largest wheat supplier to the Egyptian market.
