“Egyptian Swiss for Pasta and Milling” Targets Strong Export Expansion in 2026

The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates continues to strengthen its presence in global markets through its regular annual participation in Gulfood 2026, as part of an expansion strategy aimed at increasing exports and opening new channels for commercial cooperation with major international importers and distributors.

The Group’s participation in the 2026 edition of Gulfood reaffirms its commitment to carefully planned expansion across various foreign markets, which represent one of the most important strategic pillars for the growth of Egyptian food industry exports.

Gulfood: A Platform for Expansion and Partnership Building

Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaie, General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, stated that the Group is keen to participate annually in Gulfood, as it is the largest specialized event in the food and beverage sector in the Middle East and Africa. The exhibition brings together thousands of buyers from around the world and serves as a key platform to explore the latest trends and products in the food industry.

El-Sebaie explained that specialized exhibitions—foremost among them Gulfood—serve as an effective tool for direct engagement with potential clients and for expanding the base of international buyers. They also provide an important opportunity to showcase the Group’s latest products and introduce current clients to the ongoing developments in its production lines.

New Record in Food Industry Exports Drives Companies to Sustain Growth

The General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates added that the record achieved by Egyptian food industry exports for the first time—reaching $6.8 billion in 2025—was driven by significant growth in the exports of several products, in addition to expansion into numerous markets.

He noted that this export growth places greater responsibility on companies to continue achieving success and increasing their export volumes, in order to further strengthen the “Made in Egypt” brand across global markets.
