Egyptian Swiss for Pasta and Milling Opens New Doors in Syria through Damascus International Fair 2025
The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates is participating in the Damascus International Fair 2025, which will be held from August 27 to September 5 under the theme “Syria Welcomes the World.”
A Strategic Participation to Enhance Cooperation with Syria
Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the Group, stated that this participation comes with government support and presidential directives, reflecting Egypt’s commitment to strengthening the presence of national industries in Arab markets and boosting trade exchange with Syria, which is regarded as one of the most promising destinations for Egyptian exports.
El-Sebaey highlighted that the government support covered about 90% of Egypt’s participation cost, a move that facilitates the promotion of Egyptian products and provides them with a strong competitive edge in the Syrian market.
He further emphasized that the presidential directives to maximize trade exchange with Syria reflect the political leadership’s determination to advance economic cooperation with Damascus during this stage.
