Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta and Milling, stated that this participation comes with government support and presidential directives, reflecting Egypt’s keenness to strengthen the presence of national industries in Arab markets and to maximize trade exchange with Syria, which is considered one of the promising destinations for Egyptian exports.
El-Sebaey also pointed out that government support for Egypt’s participation in the fair covered nearly 90% of the total cost, which helps facilitate the promotion of Egyptian products and grants them a strong competitive advantage in the Syrian market.
He further explained that the presidential directives to maximize trade exchange with Syria reflect the political leadership’s determination to advance economic cooperation with Syria during this stage.
