The Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates announced a new milestone in its export journey after capturing approximately 15% of Egypt’s flour exports and 10% of pasta exports during 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand into international markets and strengthen the global presence of Egyptian products.
Engineer Ahmed El-Sebaei, General Manager of the egyptian swiss Group, stated that the company achieved a significant increase in its export share compared to overall Egyptian market indicators, which witnessed a decline in flour exports this year. He added that the company doubled its pasta exports, while flour exports recorded growth of up to 30%.
He also noted that Egypt’s total flour exports during the period from January to September 2025 reached 676,000 tons, while pasta exports amounted to 178,000 tons. El-Sebaei emphasized that these achievements reflect the company’s ability to boost its exports despite economic challenges and rising operating, energy, and transportation costs.
The egyptian swiss Group is participating for the tenth consecutive year in the Food Africa Exhibition, which serves as a key platform for promoting Egyptian products and establishing international partnerships. El-Sebaei explained that the exhibition has become one of the most important food industry events in Africa and the Middle East, helping Egyptian companies access new markets and expand export activities.
