Egyptian Swiss Group Wins Third Place in Best Booth Design Award at Food Africa 2024
Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates secured third place in the Best Booth Design Award for a participating company at Food Africa 2024. The exhibition was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from December 3 to 5, with the participation of 1,000 local and international companies from 36 countries.
Ahmed Al-Sibai, General Manager of Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates, stated that the African market holds promising opportunities that Egyptian companies must effectively capitalize on.
During a seminar on the sidelines of the third day of the ninth edition of Food Africa 2024, Al-Sibai emphasized that West Africa, in particular, requires trade agreements that would enhance Egypt’s ability to benefit from this market’s potential.
He explained that exports are not only an opportunity for companies to generate profits but also a national duty that contributes to increasing Egypt’s foreign currency reserves.
He added: “Exports support the Egyptian economy and create opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of national products in global markets.”
Al-Sibai also highlighted the huge potential for Egyptian companies to expand exports to African markets, especially with government support that strengthens the competitiveness of Egyptian products internationally.
