As part of his visit to several factories in 10th of Ramadan City, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly toured the facilities of the Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling, and Concentrates. He was accompanied by Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Dr. Nahed Youssef, Chairwoman of the General Authority for Industrial Development, Doaa Salima, Executive Director of the Industrial Modernization Center, and Eng. Alaa Abdallah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority.
The Prime Minister praised the significant progress observed in the group’s production and manufacturing operations, affirming the government’s commitment to supporting factories with the aim of sustaining operations and encouraging investment in expansion projects.
The Prime Minister and his delegation were received by Eng. Hani El Lawendy, Chairman of the Group, and Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaey, General Manager.
During the tour, the Prime Minister was briefed on the company’s operations in a presentation delivered by El-Sebaey, who noted that the group’s factories cover 35,000 square meters. He also stated that there is a plan to invest $10 million in expanding production capacity to meet the growing demand in both export and domestic markets.
El-Sebaey highlighted that the Egyptian Swiss Group currently exports to more than 40 countries and has ambitious plans to expand into new international markets, particularly in light of current global trade developments.
From his side, Hani El Lawendy affirmed that the sauce products are made using 100% local components, and emphasized the group’s intention to boost export volumes and scale up production capabilities in the upcoming period.
